::Although this is one of the recommended accommodation in Lonely planet guide it was one of the worst places where I have ever stayed. There is not women dorm in the same place as a men dorm. The main entrance to the flat where are rooms situated is not possible to lock. The cleanliness of bathroom was disaster, no at least warm water... And precedent behaviour of hostel manager in case you are woman...it is not what you expect.

::I've read a lot of good reviews about Osh Guesthouse prior to making a booking. During my stay in their apartment, which is just round the corner from the hostel itself and on the fourth floor, I encountered at least six cockroaches – and I wasn't even searching for them. The apartment is drab and dingy at best. It's definitely cheap at $20/night, but it's certainly the worst place I stayed in during my 1+ month in Central Asia. Upon check-out, the staff gave a paltry discount of 50 som (US$0.70) when I told them about the roach problem. I moved to another homestay that is around the same price, but much MUCH cleaner. I would not recommend booking an apartment through Osh Guesthouse.

::Quite a good and cheap hostel to spend a night. Simple dorm beds, ok barhroom for Kyrgyz standards. Free tea and coffee for a plus:) Very helpful staff who can organise local transport throughout Kyrgyzstan.

::직원들이 영어를 할 줄 알아서 비교적 편했다. 이 숙소에서 2번의 정전과 단수를 2일동안 경험했다. 2일동안 씻지 못.....그나마 그 사이에 큰 곤란한 일이 생기지 않았던 것이 다행. 잠만 자고 간다면 저렴하니 좋다. 개인 실내화가 있으면 좋을 듯하다. 도미토리를 예약했는데 '네가 현지인들과 방 쓰게 불편할 것 같아서 싱글룸을 준비해뒀다'고 해서 좋아했는데, 싱글룸은 1층 창가 바로 옆이라서 새어들어오는 바람은 어쩔 수 없었다. 혹시 쓰게 된다면 난방을 한 40도까진 올려야 좀 훈훈하게 잘 수 있다. 커텐을 치는게 생각보다 보온에 효과가 있음. 대신 혼자 방을 쓰는건 편했다. 열쇠는 따로 주지 않았지만 특별히 문제가 생긴 것은 없었다. 방 안에서는 잠글 수 있음.
